Star Wars: Episode VII: Heir to the Empire – Session I (Sept 15, 2006)

The (new) Emperor arrives at a Space Station orbiting Correllia.

Republic forces (including the PC's) are engaged in a pitched battle near an Outer Rim world when the Imperial Navy executes a sudden and massive retreat, pulling all of their forces back into the Colony and Core Worlds.  Admiral Ackbar is suspicious.

Also, there are reports that a massive new construction project is underway at Correllia.  You are asked to investigate.  You decide to go to Sluis Van to pick up Cyrus (Mark) then journey on to the Core Worlds.

At Sluis Van, a sabotage attempt on the new Jedi Starfighter is foiled when you arrive, but a full platoon (36 stormtroopers) of the elite 501st attack the shipyards in an attempt to capture the new Starfighter.  In addition, a lamda class suttle appears being pursued by two Imperial gunships.  You defeat the stormtroopers, save the Starfighter and destroy the gunships, allowing the shuttle to continue towards the shipyards...

Star Wars: Episode VII: Heir to the Empire – Session II (Oct 6, 2006)

Last session, you made the acquaintance of an Imperial Officer who told you of a secret base where the Imperial Navy had been shipping Spaarti Cylinders and prisoners in an effort to restart their cloning program.  You decided to investigate that also.

It was also decided that the Brass Lantern was too well known and would easily be recognized in the Core Worlds, so you contacted one of Reese's (Debbie) friends, a smuggler by the name of Han Solo, and went to Corellia on his ship, the Millennium Falcon.

Once there, you went to see Reese's father.  After disarming a trap, you found a note telling Reese not to look for him.  Reese grabbed a couple of mementos and you left in a hurry to avoid the company of Imperial Stormtroopers hot on your tail.  Unfortunately, they trapped you in a second floor hallway and, before an escape was engineered by Richter (Dan), his Padawan Learner (Eric) was shot in the chest by a Stormtrooper.  In great pain, he succumbed to the lure of the Dark Side and used the power it granted him to heal his wounds...

Star Wars: Episode VII: Heir to the Empire – Session III (Oct 27, 2006)

After hiding yourselves in a small room on a subway platform, you watched and decoded a message from Reese's (Debbie) father. Determined to rescue him, you made your way to the lift that would take you to the orbital platform on which he was being held. On the way, however, you waylaid a Rodian bounty hunter who was after Trin (Mel) and convinced him that discretion was indeed the better part of valor.

Once in the space station, you fought a small company of Battle Droids, took over a small computing station and sent a message to Reese's father to come to you. After several tense moments, he arrived just ahead of the legions of Battle Droids sent after you.

You escaped down the same lift you came in, but stopped it when it passed through a skyhook that catered to the wealthy. After scaring the daylights out of the attendant and the tourist, you stole his yacht and blasted towards the surface.  In flight, Luursk modified the engines to put out nearly double the power they were rated for, putting massive stress on the frame. One crash landing later, and you were able to get to the Millennium Falcon and head back to Sluis Van, guardians of the secret plans to a starship of unimaginable destructive power...

Star Wars: Episode VII: Heir to the Empire – Session IV (Nov 17, 2006)

Last session, you arrived back at Sluis Van and presented your evidence to the Inner Council. It was decided in short order that while the Republic gathered an attack force to destroy the starship being built at Correlia, the Heroes of Yavin would investigate the cloning facility.

Meanwhile, Trin (Mel) grabbed the case of credits she had been promised and took off, assumedly to pay off at least part of the debt she owes Jabba the Hutt. Thane, still concerned about his brush with the Dark Side, stayed behind to learn from Master Skywalker.

The Heroes arrived on the planet the Cloning Facility was based on without too many problems, hid the famous Brass lantern and took to the tunnels that honeycomb the planet. In a cavern, they fought and defeated three Aklay. Once at the Facility, they proceeded to sneak in and, after working their way through a small complex of waste management areas, found a computer terminal that Cyrus (Mark) was able to access.  There he found both a map and a mention of a mysterious Project: Sheelal...
